RESILIENCE FOR STRING QUARTET
RESILIENCE FOR STRING QUARTET BY AUTUMN MARIA REED (4'24")
Purchase Now | Advanced • String Orchestra
Program Notes: "RESILIENCE started out when I was noodling a rhythmic figure on my
string bass. I struggle with anxiety and tend to fidget with my hands.
So, I developed this rhythmic figure as an ostinato for a string orchestra piece.
Despite the lively nature, the sections represent trauma, coping, suppression, then
coping. I tend to cope with my anxieties with a jocular nature."
